The Lizar mouth-nose masks can catch droplets, for example when speaking, coughing, or sneezing, and thus protect others from infection.

According to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), a mouth-nose mask can be useful for people with acute respiratory infections who have to go out in public to protect others. However, other measures such as thorough hand washing and maintaining distance should not be neglected.

Wearing the mouth-and-nose mask can reduce the speed of the airflow or saliva/mucus droplet emission. This provides a certain protective function to others against droplets from the mask wearer.

Please observe the usual hygiene regulations, especially the current recommendations of the Robert Koch Institute and the Federal Centre for Health Education (BZgA).
